As a distribution electrician at Alingsås Energi, you'll have varied work where problem-solving, safety, and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life. About the Role You'll become part of an experienced team of several distribution electricians who work closely together in an environment characterized by openness, dialogue, and helpfulness. Together, you'll be responsible for everything from operations and maintenance, new connections at low and high voltage, to troubleshooting street lighting. The work involves both planned projects and urgent assignments, where your expertise and commitment make a real difference for our customers and society. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone with a gymnasium-level electrical or power engineering education and at least four years of experience in power distribution or similar work. If you have further training as a distribution electrician, that's a merit. Additionally, a truck license and/or valid certificates from Hot Work, Work on Roads, and ESA are merits, but not decisive. You speak Swedish fluently, have basic knowledge of English, and hold a B driver's license. As a person, you are thorough, confident, and responsible. You enjoy collaborating, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a positive atmosphere. You have good problem-solving skills, can see the bigger picture, and want to develop further in your profession. You are also someone who is good at planning and preparing, as this is a natural part of the work. Working Hours and On-Call Duty Regular working hours are 07:00–16:00 with the possibility of flexible hours. On-call duty is included approximately every fifth week together with district heating technicians and operations managers. Placement and Employment The position is based in Alingsås. We'd like you to live within approximately 30–40 minutes commuting distance. The employment is permanent with a start date by agreement.
