We look forward to your application! 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as Accounting Manager, you will be at the center of events with interesting work filled with stimulating tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and develop work within the newly established accounting unit, where you will have great opportunities to influence its design. In your role, you will have overall responsibility for Svalöv Municipal Group's accounting, both internal and external, as well as control and monitoring related to it. The Accounting Unit is expected to provide both advice and support to the municipality's managers but also have a steering role. Together with administrators in the operations, ongoing development of the municipality's accounting work is planned with the clear objective of ensuring good accounting practices. Your unit is also responsible for appropriations, invoicing, claims, and collection activities, as well as liquidity planning. Management and development of the municipality's shared business system is also an important part of the unit's mission. The work involves responsibility for budget, personnel, and work environment for your employees. Since the unit is newly established, you will have great opportunities to participate in how the organization should be designed. You report to the Finance Director and are expected to actively contribute to the Finance Department's development. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with: • University education in economics, preferably with a focus on accounting. • Good IT skills and very good knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft standard programs. • Great interest and experience working with financial management, development and improvement projects, and the ability to see the bigger picture. • Ability to master the Swedish language in speech and writing very well. As a person, we see that you are analytical and thorough, have good pedagogical skills, and have a pronounced service orientation. You also have the ability to build trust and are collaborative. It is meritorious if you have experience from the municipal sector. We would like to see that you have previously held a leadership role and that you enjoy developing and coaching your employees.
