We're now seeking an instrumentation technician with an interest in engine development, with a particular focus on service, support, and preventive maintenance. The service function is a central part of engine development and testing in both industrial and marine segments at Volvo Penta.
You will become part of a dedicated service team responsible for service, support, calibration, and maintenance of measuring equipment in our test facilities. The role is varied and combines practical work with technical problem-solving.
Your responsibilities:
As an instrumentation technician, you will work with:
• Calibrating and troubleshooting instruments and equipment in a test facility environment
• Performing particle weighing
• Repairing and fabricating cable harnesses for prototype engines, instruments, and engine test facilities
• Participating in and ensuring preventive maintenance measures
• Working proactively to create stable and reliable test environments
Who are you?
We're looking for someone with experience in instrumentation, calibration, and measurement technology. You have likely worked in a similar role before and have education in electrical, instrumentation, or equivalent technical areas.
