We're Looking for a Financial Controller Who Wants to Develop and Make an Impact

Do you want to do more than just follow up and reconcile? As a Financial Controller at Nybergs Bil, you'll have a central role in how we understand, develop, and manage our business. You'll own the monthly closing, drive analysis and decision support, and have a strong mandate to develop our processes, systems, and automation. This is a new role that spans all of Nybergs Bil and all our business areas. You'll report to the CFO and become part of a finance team of five people in Jönköping. The automotive industry is changing rapidly through electrification, new business models, digitalization, and AI, and Nybergs is at the forefront. We're located in Jönköping, Nässjö, and Habo, represent eight brands, and operate the entire value chain, from car sales and workshops to rental and subscription services. Here you'll help build the finance function of the future, not just manage it. Your mission: • Monthly closing: own the closing from start to finish for all business areas. • Analysis and decision support: find what drives profitability and turn numbers into actionable insights. • Budget and forecast: drive the monitoring of results, forecasts, and key metrics. • Reports and dashboards: develop decision-making tools that are actually used by decision makers. • Automation and AI: develop our workflows and systems, both in the finance department and in operations, always with customer experience in focus. • Credit process: take responsibility for credit assessment and follow-up. You make your own credit decisions and are a key player in making good deals with our customers and sales team. We're looking for: Someone who is curious, driven, and analytical and likes to understand what's behind the numbers. Someone who takes initiative, keeps their own processes organized, and drives things independently to completion. We believe that you: • Are comfortable with accounting and can independently handle a monthly closing from start to finish. • Are skilled in Excel and experienced working with large datasets. • Understand how business systems, data, and processes connect. • See opportunities for automation and dare to try new things. • Are business-driven and see finance as a tool for better business. • Are unpretentious, quick to learn, and enjoy learning by doing. • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with change and new challenges. An economics degree is a plus, but your drive, initiative, and what you've accomplished previously matter more.
