Uniflex is now looking for an experienced and responsible Maintenance Technician for Jakobsdals Charkuterie in Gothenburg. Here you will have the opportunity to become part of a well-known company in the food industry. About the role As a maintenance technician, you will work both operatively and preventatively with maintenance, troubleshooting and development of machinery in production. The role involves both quickly fixing acute problems and working long-term with planned improvements and maintenance work. To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of electrical systems and machine electronics. You should be able to read and understand electrical schematics, troubleshoot machines and have a good understanding of how electrical systems work. The work also involves carrying out repairs, replacing components and working with electronic parts in the machinery. You should not be a trained electrician, but have an interest and understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. It is advantageous if you master TIG welding, especially in stainless steel, as welding work occurs in production. You work closely with colleagues in different roles, and your ability to communicate, collaborate and simultaneously drive your work forward independently is crucial for the role. The work involves shift work with alternating weeks of daytime (07-16) and evening shifts (14.40-23). Job responsibilities Troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of machines Planning and structuring of own work tasks Development and improvement of machinery Replacement of machine parts and electronic components Interpretation of electrical schematics and troubleshooting in machine electronics TIG welding in stainless steel When necessary, fetch materials and equipment (driving license required) We are looking for someone who has Long experience in production and maintenance Meritorious: experience from food production and hygiene competence Good electrical knowledge: read electrical schematics, understand machine electronics, troubleshoot Experience in electronics or relevant education Good skills in TIG welding (stainless steel) is advantageous Good computer skills – advantageous with experience of MaintMaster or equivalent system Driving license B Very good Swedish in speech and writing Personal qualities Self-driven and initiative-taking Structured and responsible Good collaboration skills Tidy, thorough and solution-oriented Good communication skills Confident in the role and willing to make your own decisions Start date September or by agreement Type of employment Probationary employment for 6 months with great chances of permanent employment.
