Your future challenge As a Business Controller, you combine traditional controller tasks with proactively developing your area of responsibility to match the company's business objectives. In the line organization, you work with the area manager and are part of their management team. Functionally, you report to the Head of Business Controlling. With your forecasts, calculations, and analyses, you contribute to ensuring the company's results and development toward established targets. The Business Controller is the link to Finance within the function and takes responsibility for financial tasks within the function. The Business Controller leads the function's work with financial planning and forecasting, and is the function's Risk Manager. You will: Participate in monthly closing and work with ongoing financial planning and drive budgeting and forecasting work Support and challenge line operations to meet profitability and other requirements through relevant analyses, completed risk assessments, leadership, and control Identify and contribute to increased focus on efficiency improvements and cost awareness Develop financial models, routines, and processes Drive and participate in ad-hoc projects and serve as an expert in financial matters Work with investment projects Who you are We are looking for someone with an economics degree at academic level or a technical education with an economic focus. You have several years of experience in an equivalent role and responsibility with good experience from independent business-oriented controller work and work in business and financial systems. You may also have experience as a finance manager and now want to work closer to the operational business. You have the ability to work comprehensively as well as in detail, and what you achieve you can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. You have very good Excel skills. Experience with SAP is a merit. To succeed in the role, you need to be confident in your competence and as a person. You are driven, proactive, and can quickly develop an understanding of complex contexts and tasks. You are a skilled analyst who can understand and solve complex issues and communicate the conclusions to others.
