The Assignment As a unit manager for Facility Services, you will lead and coordinate the Facility Services Unit within the Campus Division. The role involves overall responsibility for operations, personnel, and finances, as well as close collaboration with other functions within the university. You actively contribute to ensuring that facility services maintain high quality and function as professional and efficient support that ensures clean, safe, and well-maintained premises supporting education, research, and administration. An important part of the assignment is to create and maintain structure in daily work through good planning, prioritization, and organization. The role requires the ability to work methodically and ensure clarity and quality even during periods of high tempo and varying tasks. You work in accordance with the university's values and management philosophy, which are characterized by trust, wholeness, quality, collaboration, and simplicity, and actively contribute to the Campus Division's shared development. The assignment also includes following external developments and capitalizing on technical and organizational opportunities for efficiency improvements and development. You are part of the Campus Division's management team and represent the Facility Services Unit in relevant internal and external contexts. Experience and Knowledge To succeed in the role of unit manager at the Facility Services Unit, we assess that you have several years of experience in qualified work as a manager or leader. We also assess that you have a bachelor's or master's degree, for example in economics, HR, leadership, public administration, or other experience that the employer deems equivalent. Documented experience in management or leadership roles with personnel responsibility. Experience leading operations with responsibility for finances, results, and work environment. Good ability to work structurally with follow-up, prioritization, and implementation. You have worked both strategically and operatively with good results. To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you have experience from service-intensive operations. You express yourself well in both speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
