Your Mission: To Inspire and Develop
As a teacher with us, you have the important responsibility of planning and leading instruction. You are the center of the classroom, and your daily work includes:
• Driving pedagogical development: You translate current research into practical teaching that makes a difference.
• Focusing on fundamentals: You guide students through language, reading, and writing instruction with a steady hand.
• Adapting and including: Through differentiated instruction, you meet each student where they are.
• Collaborating for the whole: You work closely with the teaching team, afterschool program, and student support to create a safe and stimulating environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you—a natural leader with the ability to create structure and safety. You are analytical, take great responsibility for your results, and have strong assessment competence.
We are looking for you with:
• Teaching credential with certification for grades 4–6.
• Substantial experience with early mathematics, language, reading, and writing instruction.
• The tools to conduct differentiated instruction.
• Collaboration skills and recognition of the value in working together around the student's entire school day.
Meriting if you have:
• Certification in Swedish as a Second Language.
The position is a temporary assignment covering one of our colleagues on parental leave. Opportunity for extension of the assignment exists.
