As a waste collection driver at SSAM, you are a key person in their work for a sustainable and cleaner environment. You contribute every day to keeping our municipality running smoothly and to achieving our environmental goals together. Work hours are scheduled during daytime. Availability for work on weekends and public holidays may be required. The job includes: Pick up and transport waste from both households and businesses within Älmhult municipality, according to established routes and schedules. Ensure high quality and service by handling waste safely and efficiently, in accordance with applicable procedures and environmental requirements. Greet customers with a friendly and professional manner, serving as an important ambassador for SSAM and contributing to a positive experience in interactions with residents. Report deviations and follow safety regulations to create a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. As part of their team, your work is crucial for maintaining good service to the municipality's residents while also protecting the environment for future generations. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for someone who: Is responsible, service-oriented, and flexible. Has a positive attitude and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Has good physical fitness, as the work is physically demanding. Requirements: At least a C-class driver's license Valid digital tachograph card Valid YKB (Professional Competence Certificate) Swedish fluency in speaking and writing Meritorious: Experience in waste management or similar service professions CE-class driver's license Computer skills Other Information StudentConsulting is SSAM's recruitment partner and handles this recruitment process.
