Department 6 is a stroke unit at Kungälvs sjukhus and part of the Geriatrics, Neurology and Rehabilitation operational area. On the stroke unit, we primarily care for stroke patients but also have patients with other internal medicine diagnoses. Work Approach The department has 16 patient beds, and as a nursing assistant with us, you will work with the acute phase of stroke care together with nurses, physicians, and rehabilitation staff in multidisciplinary teams. All patients on the unit have their own rooms equipped with the latest technology in the field. We actively work to ensure that all employees from different professions are offered the best conditions to utilize each other's and patients' resources and expertise. The unit is equipped with an advanced patient call system that contributes to a quiet care environment. In your role as a nursing assistant, you will take on your own responsibility, which is why it's important that you are secure as a person and that you work from a person-centered and rehabilitation-focused approach. You enjoy meeting people, are attentive and empathetic, and have a desire to collaborate to ensure the best care and quality for our patients. Qualifications Qualified nursing assistant. Experience in stroke care, acute care, or elderly care is advantageous. We would appreciate if you have computer skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing.
