You're not here to transform a young person overnight. You're here to be the adult who makes a difference, one day at a time. At Samskapa, we meet young people who need more than just a safe place to be. They often have complex social challenges, frequently combined with conditions like ADHD, relationship difficulties, anxiety, or experiences of trauma. These might be young people who struggle to trust adults, regulate intense emotions, or find ways to cope with what's difficult. They need adults who can stay close, who dare to set boundaries, and who keep trying even when things don't go as planned. That's where you come in. About the Role: You're part of the young person's everyday life—the one who creates structure, maintains routines, joins in activities, motivates, talks, listens, and helps things work. One day you might cook together or go for a walk. The next day you might need to handle a significant conflict or help a young person regain calm. You work one-on-one with a young person, getting the chance to really know them. You work independently, need to be able to make decisions, and trust your own abilities. There's no manual for every situation here, so you need to think "Okay, that didn't work. What should we try instead?" and dare to try again. But even though you work independently, you have colleagues, supervisors, and specialist support when you need to bounce ideas around, get support, or think out loud. The work also involves collaboration with social services, schools, guardians, and other important people in the young person's life. Documentation is a natural part of the job. What We Offer You: A secure start. You get a thoughtful introduction with follow-ups along the way. Opportunity to develop. Both on a personal level and in your professional role. We offer training based on our organization's needs and what you want to improve. Support when you really need it. You get continuous supervision, close manager support, and colleagues to discuss your thoughts with. 5,000 SEK in wellness benefits per year. Because we want you to stay well and feel good outside of work too. Requirements: Relevant post-secondary education, such as a degree in social pedagogy, social work, or other education the employer deems equivalent. Experience working with young people, preferably in HVB or similar services. Very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Driver's license (Class B), as the work involves travel between our facilities. Meritorious: Experience working with young people with ADHD, self-harm, OCD, eating disorders, or other challenging behaviors Knowledge of low-arousal approaches and experience handling threatening or challenging situations. Basic knowledge of BBIC. Experience with documentation in journal systems. Who Are We Looking For? Someone who can be both a safe harbor and a clear compass. You have what it takes, but you don't need to have your elbows out. You can say no without making a big deal of it, and you can step back when you sense that's exactly what the situation needs. You have patience, humor, and understanding that not every day goes as planned. You like people and are genuinely curious about what's behind the facade. You can sense when it's time to talk, when it's better to be quiet, and when an ordinary conversation can make a bigger difference than another serious discussion. You're comfortable with responsibility and like being trusted. At the same time, you're unpretentious enough to say "I need help with this" and curious enough to listen to someone who thinks differently than you do. In short: you don't need to have all the answers. But you need heart, courage, and a willingness to keep trying when things don't go as planned. Job Information: Location: Kristianstad Extent: Approximately 85% Work Schedule: 24-hour shifts according to schedule Employment Type: Permanent position with 6-month probation Start Date: By agreement Number of Positions: 2 Recruitment Process Information: In accordance with the Social Services Committee's decision, a certificate from the Police Authority's criminal record register is required upon employment.
