Residential Support Worker - Hourly Position

About the Job Consolida Ajacis was acquired by Indomi Group in 2022. We provide support and treatment (with assistance from external partners) through two operations in Laxå Municipality (Laxå & Hasselfors) and offer residential services with enhanced support for individuals facing substance abuse issues, other addictive behaviors, criminal history, and mental health challenges. Our concept is built on a structured daily routine with regular schedules, focus on employment, activities, and mental health – all aimed at achieving a reasonable standard of living. Qualifications As a person, you are organized, have excellent collaboration skills, are relationship-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal abilities when supporting people in need. We also value your commitment and active engagement. You are computer-literate and have proficiency in Swedish with strong verbal and written communication skills. You have experience working with this target population. Previous experience in treatment work is a merit. Requirements: - At least two to three years of work experience in substance abuse and psychiatric care - Able to work at least two to three shifts per week, including both weekdays and weekends. Day shifts and night shifts with on-call sleeping arrangements are included - You have not been convicted or served probation in the past five years Responsibilities As a residential support worker, you provide both social and practical support to strengthen and assist individuals in managing their daily lives, both at home and in the community. The primary goal is to support people with varying challenges to independently meet and manage everyday life in different situations. The objective is to contribute to a recovery process that can eventually make residential support unnecessary. This may include providing guidance and support in household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking, as well as assisting with finances and contact with public authorities. It also involves expanding daily life outside the home by supporting social connections. Residential support shall be tailored to the individual's changing needs based on an implementation plan. The implementation plan is developed in consultation with the individual and is based on the support measures they have been granted in their residential support decision. Ability to manage documentation is essential. You collaborate with colleagues, develop and follow up on implementation plans, maintain contact with family members, guardians/legal representatives, and participate in care planning and other meetings.
