About the Position Do you want to work in an important role within industrial production where quality, safety, and teamwork are the focus? We are now seeking a blast operator for MPA Måleriproduktion. Experience is a merit, but what matters most to us is your attitude and willingness to learn – we offer on-site introduction and training. Responsibilities Perform blasting of various materials and components Prepare surfaces through cleaning and degreasing before treatment Follow work instructions, drawings, and safety regulations Packing and handling of parts Requirements Good understanding of safety procedures and personal protective equipment Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Ability to work carefully and independently as well as in a team Merits Experience from paint production or blasting Traveler card Forklift certification The assignment is carried out at a client who values a safe, secure, and healthy work environment and therefore applies zero tolerance for drugs. As part of this, drug testing is conducted in connection with a job offer, as well as a background check. Any named references should be aware that they are included in your application documents. About You You are thorough, responsible, and have a strong safety mindset. You are comfortable with practical work in an industrial environment and have a positive attitude toward helping colleagues and contributing to good order and quality in production. Flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks are highly valued. Working as a blast operator involves work in a demanding environment where it is often dirty, dark, and noisy. You need to be comfortable with practical work and not be afraid to get dirty or put in physical effort when needed. The work tasks are physically demanding and can also be mentally challenging, which requires good endurance, work ethic, and a positive attitude. Experience in blasting is a merit but not a requirement – we place great emphasis on the right attitude and will train on-site.
