JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Health and Medical Care Unit is seeking an occupational therapist on a permanent position. As an occupational therapist, you will be part of a work team consisting of occupational therapists, a physical therapist, a rehabilitation assistant, and an assistive technology technician. The position is directed toward ordinary housing and special housing for the elderly (SÄBO) in our municipality. We offer you flexible work with great variety where no two days are the same. This means that as an occupational therapist, you have a high degree of independence in how you structure your workday. We all work together to improve care for Hammarö municipality's residents, and there is a strong commitment in the group to do a good job. As a member of our work team, you have the opportunity to contribute to this work. Your work area is to be responsible for assessment and treatment in the patient's home, which can also be at the special housing facilities in the municipality. The assignment includes collaborating for good care and support with staff, with a focus on what is important for our residents. It also includes educating basic staff in health-promoting work methods and safe patient handling. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in municipal rehabilitation is advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where we value flexibility, independence, and good collaboration skills. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required. In accordance with the law on police checks for work in the homes of elderly people and adults with disabilities, anyone offered employment must provide an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register from the Police Authority.
