JOB DUTIES
As a nursing assistant with us, you will have the opportunity to influence the planning of services for your fixed care clients. This means clear responsibility and significant influence over the planning, implementation, and follow-up of care together with the service user. This approach gives you the opportunity to use your skills fully and participate in shaping services based on the individual's needs, wishes, and daily life.
The work is based on person-centered care and continuity. At the same time, we are developing collaboration with other professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to together create conditions for safe and quality care, and to give you as a nursing assistant the opportunity to influence your work and develop in your professional role.
In home care, we are on a development journey. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of that development, but who also wants to grow in your professional role. We have close leadership with two managers, two coordinators, and a specialist nursing assistant who support the operations daily and create conditions for clear, present, and accessible support and leadership.
As a nursing assistant with us, you are a key person in the service user's daily life and care. The work is varied and meaningful, with a focus on providing quality care while contributing to the overall operations.
Your work duties include:
• Support in service users' daily life, such as personal hygiene, dressing, meals, and mobility assistance
• Delegated healthcare tasks, such as medication management, insulin administration, and wound dressing
• Promoting and motivating active and meaningful daily life through social interaction and activities
• Documentation and record-keeping of important events
• Collaboration with colleagues and other professionals to create safe and well-functioning care
We work days, evenings, and weekends to provide quality care to our service users. Your placement will be in one of our four home care districts: Floda, Gråbo, Lerum South, and Lerum North. If needed, work and placement may also occur in our other home care districts.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and flexible, with a genuine interest in working with people. You treat both service users and colleagues with respect and contribute to security in daily life.
You are a trained nursing assistant, and it is an advantage if you have further education in healthcare and social services at post-secondary level. Experience with delegated medical tasks is also an advantage. The work requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to perform both verbal and written tasks.
You work in a structured manner, are solution-oriented, and have the ability to adapt to changes in work. By being responsive to service users' needs, you contribute to good quality care and good cooperation in the work group.
You handle documentation and delegated medical tasks carefully and on time. At the same time, you have a desire to develop and see learning as a natural part of your work.
Before an employment offer can be made, a clean criminal record certificate from the Police Authority is required, as well as presentation of a national ID card, passport, or work permit. We may also request evidence of a protected professional title (nursing assistant) before employment.
