Aura Train & Rail is a new and specialized business unit within Aura Personal, created to meet the rapidly growing need for the right expertise in the rail and railway industry – both now and in the future. Right now we are looking for you who have experience as a signal technician and who want to work in a profession where your expertise really makes a difference. We have several current inquiries from our customers and would like to get in touch with you who are driven by technical, socially important, and developmental work. Signal Technician - The Role: As a signal technician, you will have a varied, social, and practical daily routine. Much of the work is performed outdoors together with your team, often in close collaboration with other professional groups. The work mainly involves operations and maintenance, but new construction projects also occur. The role also includes: Documentation and inspections Troubleshooting and fault reporting in various systems Work in safety-critical environments where precision and responsibility are essential We are looking for you who have: Approved upper secondary education with a focus on electrical or signal technology Approved basic signal training or ongoing training, such as BSG1, BSG2, and signal technical principles and fundamentals (BSGS) Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Class B driver's license (manual transmission) It is highly desirable if you have: Professional experience in signal technical work within railways Certification as an Electrical Safety Leader (track work, work tools and track vehicles, low and extra-low voltage) Certification as an Inspector (TSM) for A-, L-, and E-protection and experience as a track safety monitor Experience with ATC, associated equipment, and system functions (BSATC) Experience with or knowledge of ERTMS Since the position involves work within classified security areas, a security clearance is always conducted before employment is offered.
