DUTIES As a veterinarian with us, you have the opportunity to work broadly and variably with all types of animals, while also having room to develop expertise in a specific animal species or area. We maintain round-the-clock emergency services year-round, which means that night and weekend work are part of the position. Sometimes you work alone, but you are never unsupported. We are a large organization and support and advice from experienced colleagues are just a phone call away. During evenings and nights, a manager on call is always available, along with our emergency hotline 9900, where staff members receive calls from animal owners and coordinate contact with the relevant veterinarian. There is always a colleague to consult for advice, whether a colleague on call or at your own clinic or at a nearby clinic. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with Swedish veterinary licensure, and prior experience working as a veterinarian is a merit. Experience with preventive work or similar programs with farm animals is an asset. A driver's license is required. To succeed in this role, you need to be organized, have good collaboration skills, and be solution-focused. It is important that you can work independently and be self-directed while also valuing collaboration with colleagues. You also need good computer skills and strong administrative abilities, as tasks such as scheduling and medical records management are important parts of the work.
