Job Description as Preschool Teacher Your role as a preschool teacher in the work team is to lead the work based on Lpfö18 together with your colleagues. You are responsible for teaching and education at the group level as well as for the entire preschool. You lead the pedagogical work in the work team, which means you plan, document, follow up, and evaluate instruction. You are responsible for ensuring that each child's individual and collective learning is documented. You work to create a democratic climate in the group where all children are given the opportunity to develop based on their own abilities. You have a good approach to children, parents, and colleagues that is characterized by the belief that everyone wants to and can. You have good collaboration skills where you have a willingness to share and learn, and you take responsibility for creating a good work environment through a positive attitude and energetic enthusiasm for work. Qualifications and Personal Qualities We are looking for you who is a trained preschool teacher with preschool teacher certification You have experience working in preschool activities You are well familiar with the curriculum's goals based on teaching and learning You have experience working with and leading systematic quality work at the group level You contribute to the preschool's values-based work through a democratic approach that encourages participation and interaction You see IT and digitalization as a natural part of working together with children You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written You have good knowledge of Office365 About Norlandia Förskolor We are a family-owned company that operates about a hundred preschools from Dalarna in the north to Skåne in the south. Some evening work (staff meetings/professional development) Start Date: August 2026 We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Upon employment, an extract from the criminal record register is required. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EES, or Switzerland, you must be able to demonstrate that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
