Registration No. 90000012827, Daugavas iela 29, Mārupe, Mārupes novads, LV-2167 The Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Department invites applications for HEALTH PROMOTION COORDINATOR (profession code 2269 05) (permanent position) Requirements for candidates: - Higher education in a relevant field; - Practical work experience in health promotion or public health systems; - Understanding of public health and health promotion policies; - Excellent knowledge of Latvian language, record-keeping and document preparation; - Good computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel); - Ability to analyze and work with large volumes of information and data; - Ability to listen to others and establish effective communication, initiative, accuracy, positive attitude; - Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and monitor work in short and long-term; - Ability to work in a team, high sense of responsibility. Main job duties: - Promote health and healthy lifestyle in Mārupes Municipality; - Develop planning documents and maintain lists with residents and institutions in health and healthy lifestyle promotion (strategies, health promotion plans, letters, certificates, etc.); - Participate in meetings organized by the Latvian National Network of Healthy Municipalities; - Collect and analyze the municipality's needs in health and healthy lifestyle promotion; - Develop and implement an annual health and healthy lifestyle promotion events plan for Mārupes Municipality, coordinating with management and directing for approval to the strategic planning working group; - Prepare thematic articles for media outlets in the municipal newspaper and municipality website on topics within your competence; - Collaborate with relevant institutions and specialists to ensure quality performance of assigned work.
