Vacancy: Prison Administration Latvia Prison Hospital Quality and Development Control Department Disease Prevention Specialist, 2269 05 Workload: Full-time Salary: from 1350 EUR to 2090 EUR Workplace: Prison Administration Latvia Prison Hospital – Riga Street 10, Olaine, Olaine Municipality, LV-2114 Contact Information: 67290238; [email protected]; [email protected] Submit CV and cover letter to: [email protected] Requirements for Candidates: Academic or second-level professional higher education in public health or healthcare; Latvian language skills at C1 level; health status and psychological characteristics that meet the requirements set by the Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 219 of 10.03.2009 "Procedure for Conducting Mandatory Health Examinations"); desired professional experience in public health, disease prevention, health promotion, project coordination or data analysis; knowledge in public health, disease prevention, health promotion, epidemiological safety and healthcare organization; ability to analyze data, prepare reports and organize prevention activities; planning and work organization skills, ability to set priorities and use resources efficiently; ability to collaborate in a team and establish effective communication with different target groups; analytical thinking and ability to work precisely, ensuring data and documentation quality; high sense of responsibility, ethics and professional attitude towards duty performance. Responsibilities: Plan, organize and coordinate disease prevention, health promotion and harm reduction activities at Latvia Prison Hospital and its branches; organize and coordinate vaccination process planning, vaccination coverage monitoring and screening program implementation at correctional institutions in cooperation with healthcare professionals; collect, analyze and evaluate data on disease prevention, vaccination, screening and health promotion activities implementation, preparing reports and proposals for process improvement.
