About the Position Would you like to work hands-on in a varied role within industrial production? We are now seeking a machine operator for our client in Degerfors! In this role, you will work with sheet metal of various sizes and thicknesses, performing both machine operation and manual work. The manufacturing is varied, which means you need to be comfortable with skilled trades work and able to adapt to different tasks. The production includes shearing machines, gas cutting, and press machines that you will operate. You will work from technical drawings in your daily tasks and become an important part of the entire manufacturing process. We are looking for someone with experience working in a workshop environment, preferably with experience in pressing, cutting, or shearing. If you have recently completed an industrial technical education, you are also warmly welcome to apply, as the client offers on-site training. The most important thing is that you have a genuine interest in technology and a willingness to develop and learn new things. As a person, you are practical, thorough, and responsible. You enjoy working with your hands and have a solution-oriented approach. If you also have a forklift or overhead crane certificate, that is a merit.
