About the position
As Workshop Manager you are responsible for the daily operations of our Volvo/Ford/Polestar workshop. You lead, plan and follow up the work in the workshop and have a central role in creating a well-functioning collaboration between workshop, customer reception, spare parts and administration.
The position is operational. You are close to the team, you are proactive and identify obstacles early and actively contribute to solutions that strengthen quality, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, productivity and profitability. You work in a structured manner, but are also flexible when everyday situations require quick decisions and practical leadership.
Your key responsibilities
• Lead, plan and follow up the daily work in the workshop.
• Ensure quality, productivity, customer satisfaction and efficient workflow.
• Work in a structured and proactive manner according to Volvo's VPS concept.
• Develop standards, routines and improvements with clear lean thinking.
• Follow up key metrics, customer demands and unbilled work.
• Find smart and efficient ways of working together with the team.
• Create close collaboration between workshop, customer reception and administration

We are looking for someone who has
• Experience from an authorized car workshop, preferably Volvo, Ford or Polestar.
• Good understanding of workshop operations, quality, economics and customer experience.
• Ability to work in a structured, proactive and results-oriented manner.
• Easy ability to build trust and get teams to work in the same direction.
• Knowledge of Tacdis, Automaster and Cabas is a merit.
• Previous experience as workshop manager, team leader or supervisor is a merit.

The position is full-time at our service workshop in Mölndal with start according to agreement. A 6-month trial period applies.
