About the Position
As Workshop Manager at Palfinger, you are responsible for the daily operations of our service workshop in Jordbro. You lead a team of skilled mechanics and ensure that work is planned, distributed, and performed with high quality and good customer experience. The role is operational, which means you both lead and participate in the work when needed.
You work closely with customers, colleagues, and suppliers and have an important role in developing the business forward. Here you get freedom with responsibility and good opportunities to influence and shape working methods, routines, and team spirit.
Your main areas of responsibility:
Responsible for daily workshop operations
Lead, motivate, and develop the team
Allocate and plan work orders and resources
Ensure that PALFINGER's quality standards are maintained
Promote a safe and pleasant work environment
Maintain continuous customer contact and ensure good service
Budget, personnel, and results responsibility
We're Looking for You Who
Have experience leading in a technical or workshop-oriented environment. You are confident in making decisions, feel comfortable close to operations, and are not afraid to step in practically when needed. As a person, you are positive, unpretentious, and genuinely interested in seeing both people and operations grow.
We believe you have:
Experience in leadership, preferably with a coaching approach
Good technical understanding
Ability to create structure, plan, and prioritize
Focus on quality and customer satisfaction
Good communication and collaboration skills
Swedish and English in speech and writing
Good computer skills (Office suite)
