Workshop Machinist - Turning / Milling

We are now seeking a workshop machinist for our client RSE Mekaniska in Sala. Are you practically minded, have experience from the workshop industry in cutting machining, and enjoy varied work tasks? At RSE Mekaniska you will work with everything from new manufacturing to repairs in a broad role where you are involved throughout the entire manufacturing process. Work Tasks Work with manual machines such as support lathes, boring mills, and carousel lathes. Cut and prepare material as well as machine parts according to drawings and customer requirements. Participate in both new manufacturing, repair work, and recurring production. Contribute to order, quality, and an efficient workflow in the workshop. Location: Sala Scope: Full-time Working Hours: Daytime, Monday–Thursday 06:45–16:00, Friday 07:00–13:00. About You We are looking for someone with experience from the workshop industry who enjoys practical and varied work. You are self-driven, solution-oriented, and have a genuine interest in mechanical work. At the same time, you are a team player who appreciates collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment. To succeed in this role, you need to have an understanding of machining and blueprint reading, as well as appreciate taking responsibility for your work from start to finish. Qualifications Experience from a mechanical workshop or similar industrial facility Experience with turning, machining, or work with workshop machines Ability to read and understand technical drawings Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious Experience with support lathes, boring mills, or carousel lathes Experience with CNC-controlled machines and programming Fork lift and overhead crane certification Experience with repair and maintenance work We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
