Company Description Business Unit (BU) Vattenfall Power Solutions is a business unit of approximately 700 people within Business Area (BA) Vattenfall Generation that trains personnel in Swedish nuclear power, delivers nuclear fuel to Vattenfall's nuclear power plants, develops and implements projects and assignments, and provides internal technical specialist services to all of Vattenfall's operations, group staff, and stakeholders. This includes activities such as developing and providing training, project management and project support, analysis management and investigations, product development, nuclear technical safety and dam safety assignments. The focus within the Vattenfall Power Solutions business unit is to develop our capabilities in project management and selected key technical disciplines. We actively work with continuous improvement initiatives and development of our models, where our work and expertise create significant value for Vattenfall and its investments. The role belongs to the Quality & Performance unit, a staff function with expertise in business development and management systems. We work closely with our operational units and management group with a focus on standardization, efficiency improvement, and long-term continuous improvement work. About the Role In your role as a business development manager, you will hold a central position where you support and drive business development in close collaboration with managers, employees, and other functions within the organization. You will work to identify development areas, create structure and systematicity, and translate the business's needs into concrete improvement initiatives. The role involves a combination of strategic, tactical, and operational tasks where you contribute to developing working methods and procedures that strengthen the business's capabilities over time. An important part of the assignment is to contribute to a strong improvement culture by creating conditions for learning, experience sharing, and systematic improvement work. You will also work with development initiatives linked to standardization and efficiency improvement, and contribute to the development of the business's management system. To succeed in the role, you need to enjoy collaborating, building relationships, and creating engagement among various stakeholders. You have the ability to see the bigger picture, identify improvement opportunities, and translate ideas into concrete activities that deliver results.
