Company Description Business Unit (BU) Vattenfall Power Solutions is a business unit of approximately 700 employees within Business Area (BA) Vattenfall Generation that trains personnel in Swedish nuclear power, supplies nuclear fuel to Vattenfall's nuclear power plants, develops and executes projects and assignments, and provides internal technical specialist services to all of Vattenfall's operations, corporate departments, and stakeholders. This includes developing and providing training, project management and project support, analysis and investigations, product development, and nuclear technical safety and dam safety assignments. Focus within the Vattenfall Power Solutions business unit is to develop our capabilities in project management and selected key technical disciplines. We actively work with continuous improvement initiatives and development of our models, where our work and expertise create significant value for Vattenfall and its investments. The role belongs to the Quality & Performance unit, a staff function with expertise in business development and management systems. We work closely with our operational activities and management group with a focus on standardization, efficiency improvements, and long-term improvement initiatives. About the Role In your role as a business development manager, you will hold a central position where you support and drive business development in close collaboration with managers, employees, and other functions within the organization. You will work to identify areas for development, create structure and systematization, and translate operational needs into concrete improvement initiatives. The role involves a combination of strategic, tactical, and operational tasks where you contribute to developing working methods and procedures that strengthen the operation's capabilities over time. An important part of the assignment is to contribute to a strong improvement culture by creating conditions for learning, experience sharing, and systematic improvement work. You will also work on development initiatives linked to standardization and efficiency improvements, and contribute to the development of the operation's management system. To succeed in the role, you need to thrive with collaboration, building relationships, and creating engagement among various stakeholders. You have the ability to see the big picture, identify improvement opportunities, and translate ideas into concrete activities that deliver results. You will, among other things: Lead and support the operation in change management and improvement work Develop strategies, plans, and structures for business development Create conditions for a strong and sustainable improvement culture Support business development projects with a focus on standardization and efficiency improvements Work with experience sharing and deviation management Identify operational needs and translate them into concrete and structured development initiatives Prioritize development activities based on operational benefit and holistic perspective Build relationships and collaborate with managers, employees, and other functions within Vattenfall Communicate improvement suggestions and change initiatives in a clear and audience-appropriate manner Follow up on implemented activities and contribute to ensuring that improvements have lasting impact Requirements Specification Your Profile We believe you thrive in a role where you can combine analysis, structure, and collaboration.
