Company Description Business Unit (BU) Vattenfall Power Solutions is a business unit of approximately 700 people within Business Area (BA) Vattenfall Generation that trains personnel within Swedish nuclear power, delivers nuclear fuel to Vattenfall's nuclear power plants, develops and implements projects and assignments, and provides internal technical specialist services to all of Vattenfall's operations, corporate staff, and stakeholders. This includes activities such as developing and providing training, project management and project support, analysis management and investigation, product development, and nuclear technical safety and dam safety assignments. The focus within Vattenfall Power Solutions is to develop our capabilities in project management and selected key technical disciplines. We actively work with continuous improvement initiatives and development of our models, where our work and expertise create great value for Vattenfall and its investments. About the Role Do you want to be part of developing working methods that strengthen quality, efficiency, and continuous improvements in a socially important operation? As a business development manager with us, you'll have a role where you not only support development, you also drive it. Here you'll have the opportunity to influence how we work, collaborate, and develop the business forward. The role belongs to the Quality & Performance unit, a staff function with expertise in business development and management systems. We work closely with our operational activities and management group with a focus on standardization, efficiency, and long-term improvement work. About the Role In your role as business development manager, you'll have a central position where you support and drive business development in close collaboration with managers, employees, and other functions within the organization. You work to identify development areas, create structure and systematics, and translate the business's needs into concrete improvement initiatives. The role involves a combination of strategic, tactical, and operational tasks where you contribute to developing working methods and routines that strengthen the business's capabilities over time. An important part of the assignment is to contribute to a strong improvement culture by creating conditions for learning, experience sharing, and systematic improvement work. You also work with development initiatives linked to standardization and efficiency, and contribute to the development of the business's management system. To succeed in the role, you need to enjoy collaborating, building relationships, and creating engagement among different stakeholders. You have the ability to see the big picture, identify improvement opportunities, and translate ideas into concrete activities that deliver results. Your Responsibilities You'll have a varied role with many contact points and great opportunities to make an impact. You will, among other things: Lead and support the business in change management and improvement work Develop strategies, plans, and structures for business development Create conditions for a strong and sustainable improvement culture Support business development projects with a focus on standardization and efficiency Work with experience sharing and deviation management Identify the business's needs and translate them into concrete and structured development initiatives Prioritize development activities based on business value and holistic perspective Build relationships and collaborate with managers, employees, and other functions within Vattenfall Communicate improvement proposals and change initiatives in a clear and target-group-appropriate way Follow up on completed activities and contribute to ensuring improvements have long-term impact Job Requirements Your Profile We believe you thrive in a role where you can combine analysis, structure, and collaboration.
