Welcome to Us At the Disability Services Purchasing Unit, we work with investigating applications, making decisions, and following up on approved support according to the Social Services Act and the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments for children, young people, and adults with disabilities. The unit has 34 employees in roles as benefits administrators, administrators, a coordinator for personal assistance, a contract administrator, three group leaders, and a unit manager. The unit is divided into three work groups, two adult groups, and one children's group, each led by their own group leader. Your Role As a business development officer, you are responsible for driving, coordinating, and following up on development work within the unit. You work on behalf of management but are also expected to independently identify development areas, propose improvements, and ensure that the unit's processes, routines, and working methods develop and are maintained over time. In this role you are a close support to the management group and contribute to creating a clear thread connecting the unit's goals, development initiatives, and daily case handling. You are responsible for anchoring change work in the organization and support managers and group leaders in implementing new working methods and procedures. Work tasks include, among other things, operations monitoring, quality and method development, process mapping, internal control, coordination of training initiatives, and preparation of documents, investigations, and operations reports. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for someone who has - a degree in social work or equivalent education that, together with relevant work experience, is assessed by the employer as equivalent - current and several years of experience working with public administration in the disability field - current experience with quality and change work, such as business development officer or project manager - good ability to express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing It is meritorious if you have - experience working within social services and working in the Paraply system in Stockholm city - experience working with ILS (integrated management system) or Stratsys - experience from other operations areas within social services We place great importance on personal suitability, motivation, and the following personal qualities: You have a good ability to plan and organize your work efficiently. You structure and drive your tasks independently. In development work you are proactive and driven. You are good at collaborating with others and at creating conditions for good cooperation.
