We are seeking an engaged and strategic operations development manager who wants to drive the development of elder care in Upplands-Bro Municipality. As an operations development manager, you are part of the elder care management organization and work closely with the management of the operations. You report to the department manager and have a central role in supporting, coordinating, and driving development and change work within elder care. Job Description In the role of operations development manager, you work both strategically and operationally. You serve as a resource to unit managers and department manager on complex issues and contribute with structure, methodology, and follow-up in development and change processes. You are responsible for identifying areas for improvement, analyzing the needs of the operations, and translating ideas into concrete measures. The role involves many contact points and requires a strong ability to create collaboration and engagement in the organization. As an operations development manager, you will, among other things: Drive and support improvement and change work within elder care. Function as a link between management and operations. Support managers in development and change processes. Contribute with structure, methodology, and follow-up in various development initiatives. Conduct analyses and prepare materials for decisions and operational development. Follow up on goals, results, and quality work. Contribute with knowledge of current legislation and relevant governance documents. Participate in and lead projects and coordinate development initiatives within the operational area. We are looking for someone who has: Academic education that the employer considers relevant for the position. Experience working within elder care. Strong ability to work strategically and analytically. Experience with development, improvement, or change work. Strong ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. It is advantageous if you have: Management experience within elder care. Experience working in a politically governed organization. Experience with project management or coordinating assignments.
