Sensus is one of Sweden's eight study associations and we work with adult education. Sensus is rooted in some of Sweden's major social movements, including the Swedish Church, Scouting, choral life, and the free music life. We are now seeking a creative and committed operations developer and educator for Rättighetscentrum Norrbotten. Rättighetscentrum Norrbotten is an anti-discrimination bureau that works against discrimination and for equal rights and opportunities. We do this through education, information, and advocacy, and by offering free legal advice and support to people who experience discrimination. What will you do as an operations developer and educator with us? You will be one of two people who jointly manage different areas of the operations: information, advocacy, education, and case handling. In this position, you will have primary responsibility for educational activities, and you will also work with the bureau's communication, public events, and advocacy. The work is varied, and in a small operation like ours, we need flexibility to reduce vulnerability. You will need to handle relationship-building, planning, implementation, and follow-up of activities. You will have an office space with colleagues in Piteå but will work throughout Norrbotten county. You will occasionally travel for work but will also have many digital meetings and remote collaborations. Your main tasks will be to: Develop and deliver educational programs based on legislation and theory on discrimination, norms, and human rights Responsibility for education strategy and working to reach out with the bureau's educational offerings Design and conduct public events Contribute to the bureau's advocacy work (including position papers and debate) and communication efforts to prevent and counteract discrimination Collaboration with public and non-profit actors Contribute to the development of Sensus adult education activities and create synergies between the anti-discrimination bureau's work and adult education. What do you need to be able to do? A prerequisite for this position is solid knowledge of human rights, discrimination, and norm criticism gained through relevant academic education or other experience. We also believe that you have: experience in educating and presenting experience working with advocacy and opinion-building, both toward the general public and decision-makers clear and pedagogical communication skills in both spoken and written form Swedish as a working language in speech and writing good skills in office software and general strong IT competence ability to independently plan and implement activities a driver's license for passenger cars (category B) We also value that you are relationship-oriented in professional contexts. The work is conducted in collaboration with businesses, associations, and individuals. The role therefore requires good collaboration skills and the ability to relate to others in a responsive manner. It is valuable if you have experience seeking funding and working with follow-up and reporting of activities to funding bodies. About the position This is a permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period. We offer full-time employment. The position is primarily based in Piteå, but for the right candidate, there is an opportunity to agree on placement in another location. Sensus applies collective agreements between Fremia, Unionen, and Akademikerförbunden. This position involves flexible working hours. Travel may occur, including overnight stays, as well as work on certain evenings and weekends. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
