Sensus studieförbund creates and operates meeting places for education and culture to develop. We do this together with member organizations, collaboration partners, and participants. Our target areas are education, culture, rights-based work, sustainability, existential questions, and relationships. Sensus' identity is our guiding document. We are now seeking a relationship-building and innovative activity developer focused on the church and civil society organizations in eastern and northern Värmland and the northern part of Örebro County. What will you do as an activity developer with us? As an activity developer with us, you will develop folk education work together with Sensus collaboration partners in accordance with Sensus and state guidelines. An important part of your work will be to educate and support groups and circle leaders, as well as to develop activities in collaboration with congregations and organizations. You are expected to build new relationships and networks, but will also continue to nurture existing ones. You will also handle administrative tasks such as planning, budgeting, and monitoring activities. Outward-facing communication is a large part of the role, where in addition to everyday communication via phone and email, you will work with newsletters and social media, with support from our support functions. You will both lead and participate in various development processes. As part of your position, you will also be responsible for local projects with external funding. Your work will be varied and you will plan and prioritize your work largely on your own. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues who have similar responsibilities. You will be based at the office in Örebro where your main work area is eastern and northern Värmland/northern part of Örebro County, but assignments and travel to other parts of Sensus are also included in the position. We also have several national groups that bring together employees within our activity areas for support, inspiration, and joint development. We are seeking you who Have good knowledge of and experience with the Church of Sweden Have great commitment to civil society, folk education, and culture Have experience working with process leadership in groups and organizations Have good communication skills and are skilled at creating and maintaining relationships Have the ability to administer, conduct financial planning, and monitor outcomes Have the ability to work both independently and in teams Are initiative-taking and goal-oriented Have good ability to learn about and learn new things and adapt to new conditions Qualifications Relevant post-secondary education or other equivalent education Several years of experience from pedagogical work Class B driving license Meritorious Experience working in project form from idea to completion Experience working with culture, choir, and music Have experience working within one of our profile areas such as existential questions, norm awareness and inclusion, existential sustainability, and group processes About the position The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start as soon as possible or February 1. Collective agreement exists between Fremia and Unionen. We apply goal-oriented working hours. Placement location will be Örebro. Travel, including overnight stays, is included in the position.
