The Employment Administration works to promote the municipality's growth by creating conditions for residents to engage in lifelong learning and become self-sufficient. We do this with a focus on skills supply and through coordinated operational services to businesses, working to address complex societal challenges with innovative approaches. The administration consists of three departments: Employment, Quality and Coordination, and Campus Trelleborg, with approximately 100 dedicated employees. In collaboration with department and unit managers and your colleagues within the unit, you will identify initiatives for new digital solutions and innovations that can enable new ways of working to best achieve set goals. Job Responsibilities As a Business Development Manager with digital focus, you coordinate the administration's digital development and are responsible for creating direction, structure, and momentum. You work with others to identify improvement needs, analyze them, and develop concrete solutions that make it easy to do the right thing in everyday work. You will collaborate with systems managers on the development and management of business-related systems and contribute to improving work processes. You are an important part of translating the business needs into concrete solutions and strengthening the organization's capacity within digitalization. The role involves both strategic and operational work. You represent the administration in relevant networks inside and outside Trelleborg municipality and monitor external developments in digital evolution and current regulations, particularly regarding AI and data protection. Qualifications We are looking for someone with higher education in social sciences, systems science, business development, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have a good understanding of business processes and process development, and experience working with business development and changed work practices. You have a strong ability to translate business needs into concrete solutions and preferably previous experience leading and coordinating digital development initiatives. You have a strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing, good knowledge of Office 365, and experience documenting processes, requirements, and solution proposals, as well as reporting to management. You have experience from the public sector and a good understanding of how politically governed organizations function. You have a good understanding of regulatory frameworks in the field (OSL, GDPR, data protection regulation, AI regulation, cybersecurity legislation, etc.). We would like to see previous experience in the areas of employment and adult education, knowledge of and/or experience with systems management within social services and/or adult education, preferably with LifeCare and/or Edlevo. You are a person who takes initiative and works toward better goal achievement, focuses on results, and considers the overall business in your actions and decisions. You bring new ideas and thoughts that can be implemented in the business, and you have good pedagogical skills. You take responsibility for your tasks, structure and drive processes and areas of responsibility forward independently and in collaboration with others. You enjoy learning new things and it is natural for you to analyze and solve complex situations in the best way. Furthermore, you are structured, receptive, solution-focused, and contribute to good collaboration through an open, accommodating, problem-solving, and service-oriented approach.
