Södertörn University is an educational institution in Stockholm that educates, conducts research, and collaborates for sustainable societal development. Here, 13,500 students study approximately 80 programs and over 300 courses. Södertörn University has conducted police training since 2015 on behalf of the Police Authority and currently has approximately 800 students enrolled in the police program. The Department of Police Science (IPV) currently has approximately 120 employees, the majority of whom are teachers with police expertise who are seconded from the Police Authority. In autumn 2024, a collaboration project was launched at the department, Sweden Against Organized Crime (SMOB), sh.se/smob. SMOB is an excellence initiative aimed at strengthening Sweden's capacity to combat organized crime, with a particular focus on criminal economics. By improving the capacity of practitioners and strengthening collaboration between various societal actors through research, education, and innovation, SMOB contributes to society's collective ability to hinder and prevent criminal activities that threaten the country's security and welfare. The project is led by Södertörn University together with eight government agencies and four business and labor organizations. We are now seeking a collaboration-skilled Management and Organizational Developer for SMOB. Responsibilities Support and guide the organization's collaboration with internal and external parties, particularly with agency leadership and the Prime Minister's Office. Contribute to effective and strategic development of the project's governance and management processes. Lead and coordinate overarching development work. Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen organizational development. Conduct investigations and handle referrals, analyze issues, and prepare decision-making materials. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social sciences, political science, economics, or another field deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience in leadership, management, or other supervisory role. Experience working with government assignments. Documented experience establishing and developing collaboration between multiple different actors, organizations, and sectors. Experience with strategic work against organized crime. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Meritorious Law degree or other legal education. Experience working in government investigations. Experience from the Prime Minister's Office or state agency. Knowledge of the regulations and mandates of crime prevention authorities. You have good collaboration and communication skills. Employment The employment is time-limited at 100% for a duration of approximately 12 months by agreement.
