We are looking for someone who wants to join our journey to create positive meal experiences for children in preschool, students in school, and care recipients in Hässleholm Municipality. We cook and deliver approximately 10,000 meals every day to preschools, schools, and care facilities. Since one of our operations developers for meals will be on parental leave, we need a temporary replacement. Welcome to become one of us! What we offer you! We offer you a developmental position and are looking for someone with a genuine interest in food, meals, and people. In this role, you will work operatively on planning menus, offerings, and follow-up of meals served in preschools, schools, and care facilities. You will also participate in strategic work on developing the operations. As an operations developer, you will be an important link in the development work toward the organization's goals. You will participate in and drive projects and processes, lead working groups, and arrange activities and training sessions. You are also expected to monitor the external environment and follow developments in relevant areas. Operations development is a broad field and assignments may change over time depending on needs. The position is a temporary contract at 100% from 2026-11-16 to 2028-01-07. Your workplace will be in Hässleholm. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is driven and engaged with a genuine interest in food and meals. It is important that you can inspire those around you, work independently based on assignments, and have the ability to drive projects. It is essential that you collaborate easily, have the ability to meet others and adapt in different situations and contexts. You are a skilled communicator and can tailor your communication in both speech and writing depending on your audience. We welcome previous experience in similar work, preferably from public meal services. We are looking for someone who; has relevant university education in nutrition science, food economics, gastronomy, or other education and work experience that the employer considers equivalent. has very strong digital skills and experience working with system support for meal operations, as you will work in the Matilda food cost system and other systems. has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good documentation skills. has a B-class driver's license since you may need to visit our facilities spread throughout Hässleholm Municipality. It is advantageous if you; have worked in the Matilda food cost system. have experience leading groups. have previous experience in similar work, preferably in public meal services. have recent experience working with development and change management. have knowledge and experience in environmental and sustainability work related to food and meals. have practical experience working in a kitchen.
