The Position and Your Tasks We are seeking a business development manager who wants to help develop the digital working methods of the Urban Development Department. As a business development manager, you have a central role in the department's digital transformation. You are responsible for leading and coordinating development initiatives that strengthen working methods, processes, and digital solutions. In this role, you work closely with managers, process leaders, specialists, and external partners to create structure, collaboration, and momentum in development work. You drive development within information management, automation, and AI, and contribute to creating conditions for a more data-driven operation. Your main responsibilities: lead the Information and Automation project and be responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up coordinate development initiatives and lead steering groups, working groups, and other forums related to the project develop working methods for information management and contribute to unified information supply drive development initiatives within automation, AI, and develop the use of Power BI, Power Automate, and other digital information solutions contribute to the development of open data, digital twins, and other initiatives that strengthen data-driven decision-making and sustainable digital development The role encompasses both strategic and operational work, where you translate the organization's needs into concrete development efforts. You create engagement, build collaboration, and contribute to information being used efficiently, securely, and with clear operational value. Together with the organization, you develop long-term working methods that strengthen the department's digital capacity. You You have a degree in civil engineering or an academic degree in geomatics, GIS, urban development, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience in business development where you have analyzed organizational needs, developed working methods or processes, and participated in or driven digital development initiatives. Other Requirements: Experience driving development, project, or digitalization initiatives in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Experience in process development, including process mapping and needs analysis. Experience working cross-functionally in an organization. Experience from the urban development sector. Experience in information management or information governance. Experience preparing and presenting decision-making materials, reports, or other information in Swedish for different target audiences. We consider it a merit if you have: Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) or similar tools Experience with data-driven work, for example open data or AI-related development initiatives Experience with GIS, geodata, or work with digital twins You enjoy collaborating and build trusting relationships in an organization with many contact points.
