We are now recruiting a business development manager for one of the department's upcoming two units; the unit for test development and coordination.
What you will do and be responsible for
As a business development manager, you will have a key role in developing and structuring UHR's test operations. You will work at the intersection of establishment and operations, with a focus on developing work methods, processes, and approaches as well as strengthening monitoring and learning for long-term value. You will work broadly with developing the test operations and the new department.
Your tasks will include, for example:
Initiate, develop, implement, and support methods, work forms, and approaches in test operations both within the agency and together with our partners.
Lead and contribute to projects and assignments, such as feasibility studies, operational monitoring, and evaluation.
Lead and facilitate assignments and activities together with managers, employees, and various stakeholders.
Assist in change management.
Contribute to analysis and formulate responses to government assignments and consultations within the operational area.
Other tasks may also occur.
You
You have:
An academic degree in social sciences or another relevant field for the position, or work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience independently leading, driving, and following up on business development within public administration or another large organization.
At least 5 years of experience initiating, developing, supporting, and implementing methods and work forms, for example within project management, process development, change management, etc.
At least 5 years of experience preparing decision-making, analytical, or planning materials on matters with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.
Experience managing projects based on collaboration and cooperation between multiple internal functions and external actors.
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you have:
Experience working in a politically governed organization.
Experience working with education issues, test operations, or other regulated activities with high demands for legal certainty, equivalence, and efficiency.
Experience with investigative work tasks, such as report writing and consultation responses.
Knowledge/experience in change management.
Knowledge/experience in program, project, and/or process management.
Knowledge/experience with PPS or equivalent project management tools.
Experience with digital development.
To function well in the role of business development manager, you need strong ability to:
Find solutions and be proactive (initiative, creativity).
Translate complex information into clear and decision-supporting materials (analytical skills, strategic thinking, communication/written skills).
Work independently, take own initiatives, and be confident in driving matters forward even when conditions are unclear or changing (responsibility, initiative, creativity, flexibility).
