About the position
The Business Development Officer plans and is responsible, under the guidance of the unit manager, for work to establish a civil service system with extended basic training at Svenska kraftnät. Svenska kraftnät is currently investigating the conditions for introducing civil service with conscription and extended basic training within electricity supply.
The investigation will be finalized in March 2027. In parallel, preparatory work will begin on how such a civil service system should be established.
The role may involve some management responsibility following delegation from the unit manager.
Other work tasks include;
Developing timelines, budgets and results for the establishment.
Ensuring stakeholder engagement, both within Svenska kraftnät's own organization and with other authorities, companies and organizations.
Preparing analyses and investigation and decision-making materials.
Contributing to continuous and appropriate resource allocation for the assignment.
Coordinating resources within the assignment.
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the establishment and working to ensure that set goals are achieved.
Participating in recruitment and procurement.

The position is within the Civil Service unit, a relatively newly established unit within the External Assignments section of the Security and Preparedness Department.
The unit currently consists of ten employees, of which six are consultants.
The department has just over 100 employees.
The position is permanent and located at our headquarters in Sundbyberg. The employment may begin with a probationary period.

Education:
Academic degree in a relevant field for the work tasks, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät deems as equivalent.
You also have:
At least five years of experience working with business development and/or project management within a public authority.
Experience of successfully driving complex business development.
At least two years of experience working with internal and external collaboration.
Class B driving license.
Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
Meritorious
Experience of working with total defense issues, particularly with civil service or military organization matters.
Experience of leading government assignments.
Certification or experience that the employer deems equivalent in project management.

The position is located in Sundbyberg.
Remote work up to 50% may occur if work tasks permit.
Travel may occur, primarily within Sweden.
