Social services in Kalmar shall be knowledge-based, secure, individually adapted, efficient, equitable, and accessible. To enable this, we have been working for several years based on a well-implemented process-oriented approach that creates a holistic perspective, structure, and conditions for continuous improvements.
Children and Families is a broad area of operations where authority under the Social Services Act and the Disability Services Act, housing and services, and preventive work work together to provide children, young people, and families with the right support at the right time. As part of the management team, you contribute to leading and developing the operations from a shared holistic perspective with a focus on quality, collaboration, and sustainable development.
In your role as Business Development Manager, you work closely with the Operations Manager in the governance and management of the operational area. Based on the process-oriented approach, you drive and support quality and development work, focusing on creating efficient, coherent, and value-creating processes for the children, young people, and families we exist to serve.
You serve as a strategic and operational support to managers in their systematic quality work, monitoring, and development. The role involves contributing to the analysis, improvement, and implementation of work methods, as well as ensuring that operations develop in line with legislation, goals, and needs.
You are also part of the department's operations and quality development group, where you, together with other development functions, contribute to coordinated and long-term development work.
Our management philosophy enables you to achieve personal development, including leadership training.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a degree from a social work program or other relevant higher education that we consider appropriate. You have strong knowledge within the social services area that enables you to drive goal, quality, and development work at a strategic level. You express yourself well in speech and writing and have a strong ability to compile, analyze, and visualize material. You are creative, innovative, and have a trustworthy and inspiring manner.
Great emphasis is placed on personal competence.

A class B driving license is required for this position.
