Assignment Description We are seeking an interim Business Development Manager for Vehicle-Related IT during the time a recruitment process for a permanent position is initiated and completed. To succeed in this assignment, you need the ability to: Have a holistic view of how vehicle-related IT, processes, and systems interact with the vehicle's lifecycle, business objectives and decisions, as well as business needs Have the capacity to drive development and improvement work in a systematic way, from needs identification and analysis to implementation and follow-up Have the ability to analyze data, current state, and relationships, and translate this into relevant key metrics, decision support, and prioritization Have the ability to coordinate and create effective collaboration between vehicle managers, stakeholders, consultants, and relevant functions Have the ability to work with a business focus on compliance and contribute to efficient and value-creating work within vehicle-related IT The role of Business Development Manager for Vehicle-Related IT is responsible for managing and developing the customer's processes and methods for vehicle-related IT. Process work is conducted generically and supports practical work per vehicle type and project. The assignment includes: Responsibility for the long-term development of Transitio's vehicle-related IT in dialogue with the immediate manager Responsibility for driving development and improvement work with IT as an enabler together with key functions in the organization Responsibility for Transitio having appropriate IT architecture/systems over time that meet relevant regulatory requirements Within the area of responsibility, appoint, coordinate, and follow up deliverables and projects outsourced to consultants Be the contact person for external stakeholders in the vehicle data area (such as the Swedish Transport Administration and academia) Together with other functions, contribute to developing and following up relevant key metrics to measure vehicle performance (traffic safety, operational reliability, economics, environment, and customer experience) Act as an expert and requirements manager within the area of vehicle-related IT Within the area of responsibility, act as support and sounding board to other employees and tenants Mandatory Requirements Higher education or university degree, or equivalent relevant professional experience. At least 5 years of documented experience with management, development, requirements specification, or implementation of mission-critical IT systems within transport, industry, infrastructure, or other technically complex operations. The experience should include systems supporting, for example, operations, monitoring, control, data management, or maintenance. At least 3 years of documented experience independently leading and driving development initiatives or projects within vehicle-related IT. The experience should include responsibility for planning, coordination, and follow-up of activities and deliverables, as well as coordination of affected stakeholders. The experience may relate to other vehicle types than rail vehicles. Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, and very good knowledge of English. Meriting Requirements At least 5 years of documented experience working in railway technology or railway vehicles, or alternatively from other operations with complex technical systems with long lifespans. Documented experience with vehicle lifecycle as well as maintenance and operations matters. Documented knowledge of relevant laws, standards, and regulations in the field. At least 3 years of documented experience with information and/or cybersecurity work. At least 3 years of documented experience independently initiating and conducting investigations that resulted in decision support, recommendations, or action proposals.
