Your New Position
As a Business Strategy Officer in the Finance Department, you will work with qualified governance and monitoring of finances and operations from a municipality-wide perspective. You will become an important part of developing the municipality's governance framework and have the opportunity to influence working methods, processes, and decision-making support at a high level.
In this role, you will, among other things:
- Participate in managing and developing the municipality's governance model
- Serve as system administrator for the management system Stratsys and ensure that the system supports the municipality's governance in the best possible way
- Conduct qualified analyses and assessments
- Participate in the municipality's budget process
- Participate in the municipality's monthly follow-up through analyses of finances, operations, and results
- Lead or participate in investigative and development work
- Provide qualified support to managers, departments, and elected representatives on matters concerning governance and business development.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone with higher education in economics or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working with management systems as well as financial and operational governance. You also have experience with project, development, or change management.

You have a strong command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious
It is also meritorious if you have experience working in a municipality or other politically governed organization. It is meritorious if you have experience with system administration and Stratsys.
Welcome to Us
The Finance Department is part of the central administration City Office in Jönköping Municipality. You will join the team led by the municipality's budget manager. The Budget and Governance Unit's overall mission is to monitor, analyze, and forecast Jönköping Municipality's finances. Our physical workplace is located in the Town Hall in central Jönköping.
We can offer you a developmental role in a workplace characterized by good collaboration and a positive approach. You will work closely with colleagues in the department, as well as people from other departments, and we work together to fulfill our shared mission.
