We are seeking an Operations Expert for the Economics and Operations Management unit in Sundbyberg, Norrköping, or Gothenburg. The Unit's Mission In the Economics and Operations Management unit, approximately 20 experts work with forecasting, planning, management, and monitoring of economics and operations. The unit is responsible for several agency-wide processes, including forecasting, operational planning, budget allocation, budget bases, and annual reporting. We work in teams and based on shared values. This includes sharing knowledge and seeking collaboration within and outside the unit. We value an interest in both economics and operations as we solve many tasks together. Together we create value for the agency throughout the entire chain from planning and forecasting to monitoring and annual reporting. What Does an Operations Expert Do? You will be part of the agency's overall annual cycle for planning and monitoring. You will help develop decision bases, proposals, and recommendations that strengthen operational management and goal achievement. You will contribute with strategic analyses based on new legislation, changes in our surrounding world, economic conditions, and/or operational monitoring. Analyses often occur in collaboration with other competencies and are of a comprehensive nature. The Economics and Operations Management unit has a broad mandate where you are expected to contribute to multiple processes and tasks based on need and opportunity. Who Are You? We are seeking a person who easily adapts to new conditions and assignments. You are unpretentious, structured, and find it interesting to work with improvements and new solutions. You are a quality-conscious person with good overall perspective who does not get caught up in details but can maintain a comprehensive perspective. You should also be comfortable working under time pressure during certain periods and delivering materials with short deadlines. You have good ability to listen and communicate with others, and it is natural for you to communicate complex issues in a simple and understandable way. You work well with other people and value collaboration highly. You take responsibility for your area as well as the unit's, and can independently assess and prioritize what creates value for the agency. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. You Have Relevant academic education of at least 120 credits. Current and several years of experience with analysis and monitoring in public operations planning. Good communication skills and the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. It Is Advantageous If You Have Statistical knowledge including collection of quantitative data. Good knowledge of the Swedish Migration Agency's operations and mandate. Current experience working as an Operations Expert at the Swedish Migration Agency. Information Employment Form: Permanent position with 6 months probation. Working Hours: Office hours, with possibility to agree on trust-based working hours.
