Welcome to us
The Quality Department is responsible for archives, records management, and committee processes. It coordinates the administration's work on planning and follow-up and stimulates innovation and development in the administration's operations. The department is also responsible for IT matters, procurement and purchasing, security and safety work, as well as work with citizen participation and civil society issues.
As an Operations Controller, you will be part of the Development Unit, which is one of the department's five units. We are a team of nine employees and a manager, with the majority of us working as Operations Controllers/Project Managers. We coordinate Central Stockholm's work on operational planning, information security, environmental issues, quality and innovation development, and serve as support and research resources for the administration's management. We guide and mentor the district administration's operations within our areas of expertise.

Your role
In your role as an Operations Controller, your assignment is to provide the committee with the best possible conditions for making decisions and to provide the administration's management with well-substantiated and comprehensively presented decision-making materials. You, together with Operations Controller colleagues, will develop the administration's guidelines and frameworks for operational planning and follow-up based on the city's system for integrated management and governance.
Within the unit's assignment, there is also innovation and digitalization, where you will work to create and develop the administration's innovation capacity.
Your work tasks will primarily include:
coordinating systematic quality work and being part of the unit's digitalization efforts,
writing statements and reports, responding to correspondence and referrals, and preparing materials for committee decisions,
coordinating and leading current projects and assignments,
contributing to the administration's planning and follow-up processes within selected areas.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
academic education or equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent
worked with investigative tasks and conducted various types of analyses
experience in guiding others and planning and conducting workshops and training
experience working in a politically governed organization
experience with systematic quality work
experience with digitalization and innovation management issues.
It is advantageous if you have:
experience working with the case management system eDok (Platina) or the planning and follow-up system Stratsys
worked with design thinking.
You have an easy way of building good relationships through your pedagogical and reliable approach. You are unpretentious, flexible, and enjoy providing good service. You see your role as part of a larger context, have the ability to take different perspectives into account, and have problem-solving analytical abilities. You are also goal and results-oriented with a clear focus on your assignment and experienced at collaborating with others to achieve it. You are thorough, take great responsibility, take initiative, and drive your work forward in dialogue with others. Furthermore, you have a good ability to make correct assessments with regard to the operation's best interests.
