Are you an engaged and well-organized administrator with good leadership qualities who wants to develop and drive the operations area's administration forward? As executive secretary and unit manager for the consolidated administration, you will have a central role for the operations area at the Region's three hospitals. The administration within Operations Area Anesthesia and Intensive Care consists of a total of six employees, four of whom work at USÖ, one in Karlskoga and one in Lindesberg. Duties As operations manager secretary/unit manager you are offered varied work and given great opportunity to shape the work structure together with the operations manager. The task is primarily to provide administrative support to the operations manager, but also to other management functions in daily work. As unit manager you are the first-line manager for the operations' administration at the three hospitals, which entails both personnel responsibility and financial responsibility, and you will be part of the operations management group. Active workplace environment work is a natural part of the position and you lead and distribute work within the operations' administration. As executive secretary you are well versed in our internal and external processes and identify changes that lead to smarter working methods and procedures. Your duties may include coordinating and planning management meetings and serving as secretary at these meetings, as well as handling matters or decisions from the management group to ensure the process is handled further. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has a healthcare administrative education or equivalent education that we deem relevant. You should have very good knowledge of general IT systems, document and case management systems, invoice handling and in-depth knowledge of Office programs. It is desirable if you have experience with the Region's IT systems and previous management or leadership experience is a merit. You are a well-organized, initiative-taking and thorough person who can independently plan and carry out assignments. Working solution-focused with the ability to prioritize is a given for you and you adapt easily to changed circumstances and have very good collaboration skills. Once you have started something, you ensure the work is completed and you think it is important to stay ahead and work proactively. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
