As an operations manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference—both for today's operations and for Public Dentistry's future development. Work location is flexible and can be discussed based on operational and candidate conditions. Responsibilities As operations manager, you will lead ten unit managers who together are responsible for Public Dentistry's 21 general dentistry clinics. In total, approximately 380 employees work within General Dentistry. The assignment will be distributed between you and your fellow operations manager, and close collaboration is required. There are opportunities to work clinically part of the time. Your most important task is to create good conditions for managers and employees to succeed in their assignments and to develop the operations together toward set goals. Through clear, trust-based, and present leadership, you strengthen management and contribute to the operations developing with high quality, good work environment, and clear patient focus. You hold overall operational, financial, and results responsibility and lead development within quality, accessibility, competency supply, efficient resource utilization, and long-term sustainable finances. You translate strategic goals into concrete results and drive development and change work in close collaboration with managers and employees. As operations manager, you report directly to the Public Dentistry Director and are part of Public Dentistry's management group. There you actively contribute to the development of all of Public Dentistry and take shared responsibility for the operations' strategic direction and future. Qualifications You hold a Swedish license within the dental profession and have several years of experience in management and leadership. You have experience with operational, work environment, financial, and results responsibility and are confident in leading development in a complex organization. You are well familiar with current legislation and regulations in dentistry and their practical application in operations. We would like you to have experience leading other managers and to have completed leadership training, change management training, or have equivalent experience. You have the ability to see the whole picture, prioritize, and translate goals and strategies into concrete activities and results. You have strong communication skills with experience communicating clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, and you collaborate well with others. To succeed in this role, you are a confident and clear leader who creates engagement through trust, dialogue, and participation. You build relationships, develop other leaders, and create conditions for collaboration and learning. You have the courage to make decisions, the ability to manage change, and a genuine interest in developing both people and operations. As a manager, you take responsibility for setting goals, following up on operational results, analyzing outcomes, and taking measures that lead to continuous development and good results. We have a dental laboratory, a public health unit, an education and research unit that is closely connected to Örebro University.
