Our Offer Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, 4 on-call centers, Health Center Finspång, migration health services, child health care unit, 1177 by telephone, and a general medicine training center. We provide comprehensive primary care services where we offer care to everyone throughout their entire lives; newborns, children and adolescents, adults and the elderly. Primary care is the hub of health and medical services, and our ambition is that primary care should be every citizen's natural and first entry point to health and medical care. Kungsgatan Health Center is part of the Primary Care Center (PVC) in Region Östergötland and is located centrally in Linköping near the central station in newly renovated facilities. Our operations include a doctor's clinic, Child Health Care Center, counseling clinic, dietitian clinic, rehabilitation coordinator, district nurse and nurse clinic, nursing assistant clinic, and medical foot care. In total, we have approximately 45 employees and approximately 13,000 listed patients. Job Description As operations manager, you will have a central role in leading and developing the operations, with great opportunity to make a difference for both employees and patients. Together with the care unit manager, medical operations manager, and other employees, you will create the conditions for a well-functioning, secure, and development-oriented health center. For Kungsgatan Health Center, you will be responsible for budget, personnel, work environment, patient safety, and medical quality. Your role is valuable as you, together with the employees, translate the organization's goals into daily work and focus on developing and improving the operations. As operations manager, you will also contribute to the joint development of primary care within Region Östergötland. At Region Östergötland, you can continue to develop as a manager and leader. We offer leadership development programs for managers at various levels that provide knowledge, tools, and confidence to develop in your role as a leader. If you have education within health and medical care, there is an opportunity to combine the management role with a certain percentage of your position in your basic profession. Your closest colleagues are other operations managers at region-operated health centers in central Östergötland (Linköping, Kisa, Åtvidaberg, and Ydre). You will be part of the primary care management forum and report directly to the primary care area manager. About You We are looking for someone with a university degree and several years of experience as a manager or leader within health and medical care. It is meriting if you have experience working in primary care and are well familiar with the requirements and challenges that a health center faces. You must have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as the job tasks require this. You have situational leadership and the ability to adapt your support based on employees' needs, experience, and competence. You lead a competent and independent work team by building trust, creating team spirit, and leveraging each employee's strengths and perspectives. By recognizing and involving employees, you create participation, collaboration, and shared responsibility for the organization's development. You have a good ability to lead through change, inspire, and make wise decisions that contribute to achieving common goals. As a leader, you motivate your employees and create conditions for driving the operations forward. You are calm, stable, and trust-building in your work—even when the pace is high or conditions change in both administrative and development processes. You also collaborate well with others, listen and communicate in a responsive and clear manner while having the ability to understand another person's perspective. As operations manager, you see the whole picture and consider the broader perspective. You understand your role but look to the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and decisions.
