Operations Manager at Segevångsgården – Lead with heart and develop with quality Are you looking to lead operations where care, quality, and development go hand in hand? We are seeking a confident and present operations manager who builds trust, brings people along, and drives change and improvement initiatives from idea to results. At Forenede Care, you will have an independent assignment with considerable authority to lead and develop the operations and your team. At the same time, you will receive support from our support functions and the opportunity to develop your leadership and contribute to our shared success. Where you will work Segevångsgården is a specialized residential facility focused on dementia care and somatic care with 72 beds, divided into six units all on ground level. You as a night care assistant are an important part of the team and are responsible for our residents' care and well-being under the leadership of nurses and managers. Segevångsgården has a wonderful park-like garden and all units have access to it from the day rooms; additionally, each unit has its own outdoor patio. One unit with 19 residents is for people with somatic illnesses, and the remaining five are for people with dementia, 53 residents. About the role As operations manager, you have overall responsibility for Segevångsgården. The assignment includes responsibility for staff, finances, occupancy and sales, as well as quality. You lead the operation toward established goals and ensure safe care, a sustainable work environment, and good results. In your leadership, you are supported by an assistant operations manager and group leaders, who together with you make up the operation's local management. Through clear responsibility distribution and close collaboration, you create structure, presence, and good conditions for the staff. An important part of the assignment is to lead and implement change and improvement initiatives. You identify areas for development, create structure, set direction, and translate ideas and decisions into practical action. By involving staff and following up on the work, you create changes that become anchored and lasting. You maintain ongoing contact with residents, next of kin, the City of Malmö, authorities, and other collaboration partners. To support you, there are support functions in finance, care and quality, market and communications, business development, and HR. You report to the regional manager and are an active part of the region's management group, where you contribute your experiences and perspectives to the region's continued development. Who are you? You remain calm and sound in judgment when circumstances change and create trust by being consistent, transparent, and accessible. You thrive with change and improvement work and have the ability to prioritize and drive the work in a structured manner from planning through implementation and follow-up. At the same time, you understand that sustainable change is created together with others. In your leadership, you listen to understand and meet people with humility and empathy. You leverage staff knowledge, create participation, and are clear about responsibility, expectations, and goals. You work strategically, analytically, and solution-oriented. Since the assignment encompasses multiple operations, you need to be able to structure, prioritize, and create clarity. You also have a strong ability to create and maintain trusting relationships with staff, residents, next of kin, the municipality, and other collaboration partners. Qualifications The operation is subject to licensing and requires relevant higher education as you will be listed on the license for the operation with IVO. For this position, you need to be able to be approved by IVO. We are looking for someone who has: Relevant higher education or university degree, for example nursing, social work, behavioral science, or equivalent. Leadership training and more than two years of documented experience leading staff and teams within elderly care. Current experience working with social services legislation. Financial knowledge and experience with budget responsibility and financial follow-up. Good experience working with and reporting in various support systems, for example journal, planning, and payroll systems. If you proceed in the process, we will request certificates of relevant training. Before employment, you must provide an extract from the police's criminal record register and documentation proving your right to work in Sweden. Meritorious It is an advantage if you have experience with change initiatives, union collaboration, and managing multiple operations. A B driver's license is also an advantage.
