We serve patients through referral as well as private individuals who need prosthetics, orthotics, seating aids, compression devices, and orthopaedic shoes or insoles. Ottobock Care in Falun has a contract with Region Dalarna to deliver complete orthopaedic care to the region's population. In addition to our main clinic at Falun Hospital, we also have branch clinics in Mora, Ludvika, and Avesta that are staffed 1 day per week. At Ottobock Care in Falun, we have 23 employees, all working to ensure we can provide the best possible orthopaedic care. You will be responsible for an operation consisting of several different professional categories such as clinical staff, production staff, and administrative staff. The position is a permanent employment contract based in Falun, with a start date by agreement. You report to the Regional Manager for Ottobock Care Region North. As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for the operation's results, staff, and quality. You lead a competent team and drive development forward in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, where the operation encompasses the entire chain from the first patient meeting to the production of customized aids and fitting of both standard and customized aids to the patient. Start date is by agreement. We have collective agreements, which means you are covered by collective agreement insurance. Work-related travel may occur. About You We are looking for someone who has: • At least 3 years of higher education within the healthcare sector or other relevant education that the employer considers equivalent. • At least 5 years of documented management experience, preferably within the health and medical care sector. • Fluent Swedish and English language skills in speaking and writing • Good knowledge of the Office suite • B-class driver's license We would like it if you have a good understanding of how a region is organized and how its working methods, decision-making processes, budget processes, and procurement procedures function. In your role as a leader, you provide your employees with the authority needed to efficiently reach common goals, and you motivate, guide, and create conditions for your employees to develop. You take independent responsibility for your tasks, drive your own processes, and ensure they are completed while having the ability to make quick decisions and act on them despite limited information or difficult circumstances. You also have good judgment under time pressure. Another ability you possess is the capacity to plan, organize, and prioritize your work while meeting deadlines, and you work toward reaching set goals with results in focus, adapting your direction if goals change.
