Description of the Operation The Night and Alarm Unit is embarking on an exciting development journey! The operation plays a vital role in the municipality's care chain and works to create safety for residents around the clock. The unit is responsible for home care services at night, managing safety alarms 24/7, and administering digital locks. As Operations Manager, you'll play a central role in further developing the operation and clarifying its mission. You're expected to lead change and development processes that strengthen the operation's identity, make its mission visible, and contribute to increased understanding of the operation's value and opportunities. Through collaboration, communication, and present leadership, you'll create conditions for an operation that is well-anchored, attractive, and future-oriented. Your Assignment As Operations Manager, you'll lead Haninge Municipality's Night and Alarm Unit within home care services, with responsibility for operations, personnel, work environment, and budget. You will, among other things: - Participate in the home care management team together with other manager colleagues and the area manager. - Lead, develop, and follow up on the night and alarm unit with support from a coordinator. - Ensure effective management, administration, and development of digital locks. - Be a present and accessible manager for approximately 30 employees. - Make the operation's mission, results, and significance visible within the organization. - Drive improvement and development work with focus on quality, work environment, and digitalization. - Ensure adequate staffing and sustainable skills supply. - Develop collaboration with other home care operations. - Plan for, convene, and lead collaboration meetings with private service providers. We have close cooperation with support functions such as HR, finance, and operations development, which gives you good conditions to focus on quality, leadership, and results. To succeed in this role, we believe it's important that you're a stable, structured person who makes clear decisions and is accustomed to independent work. You see union collaboration as a natural part of your leadership, where you work toward good dialogue and shared solutions. Educational Requirements - Appropriate education equivalent to at least 120 higher education credits from a university or 400 vocational higher education credits from a vocational university. - At least two years of full-time management experience in elder care or care for people with disabilities. - Knowledge of Swedish language in speech and writing equivalent to upper secondary level or higher. Alternatively to a complete higher education program: - Higher education in social law (at least 7.5 credits) and labor law (at least 7.5 credits). - At least 5 years of continuous experience as a manager with responsibility for personnel, finances, and work environment in corresponding operations. Experience Requirements - In-depth knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and national guidelines. - Experience with administration and computer proficiency. - Experience with change management. - Experience with implementing digital technology and digitalized work methods. - Experience as a manager of a night and alarm unit or equivalent 24/7 operation. Meritorious Experience - Experience as a manager within home care services. - Experience with process-based working methods. Other Information To provide present leadership, you need to be able to start at 7:00 a.m., at least 3 days per week, considering other meetings. Similarly, team meetings are held in the evenings. On-call manager (operational management for service operations within the Elderly Care Department on evenings, nights, and weekends) approximately 3-4 times per year according to an established schedule.
