Operations Manager at Magnoliagården – Lead with heart and develop with quality Are you looking to lead operations where care, quality, and development go hand in hand? We are seeking a confident and present operations manager who builds trust, brings people along, and drives change and improvement work from idea to results. At Forenede Care, you will receive an independent assignment with significant authority to lead and develop the operations and your team members. At the same time, you will receive support from our support functions and the opportunity to develop your leadership and contribute to our shared success. Where you will work Magnoliagården is a care and residential facility specializing in dementia and somatic care, centrally located in Staffanstorp. The facility offers 75 places distributed across seven units, of which three are dementia units and four are somatic units. The operations are run on behalf of Staffanstorp Municipality. Your assignment also includes managerial responsibility for two day activities in Staffanstorp, located on Blekingevägen and Torget 7. The day activities are aimed at people with dementia and offer a safe and meaningful everyday life with activities and social community tailored to individual needs. At Magnoliagården and the day activities, engaged employees with various professions work together. Together, we create care and service of high quality with the individual at the center. About the role As operations manager, you have overall responsibility for Magnoliagården and the two day activities. Your assignment includes responsibility for staff, finances, occupancy and sales, as well as quality. You lead the operations toward set goals and ensure safe care, a sustainable work environment, and good results. In your leadership, you are supported by unit managers and group leaders, who together with you form the operations' local management. Through clear division of responsibility and close cooperation, you create structure, presence, and good conditions for your employees. An important part of your assignment is to lead and implement change and improvement work. You identify development areas, create structure, set direction, and translate ideas and decisions into practical action. By involving your employees and following up on the work, you create changes that become anchored and lasting. You maintain ongoing contact with residents, guests at the day activities, relatives, Staffanstorp Municipality, authorities, and other cooperation partners. To assist you, there are support functions within finances, care and quality, market and communication, business development, and HR. You report to the Regional Manager and are an active part of the region's management team, where you contribute your experience and perspective to the region's continued development. Who are you? You maintain composure and judgment when circumstances change and build trust by being consistent, transparent, and accessible. You enjoy change and improvement work and have the ability to prioritize and drive the work systematically from planning to implementation and follow-up. At the same time, you understand that sustainable change is created together with others. In your leadership, you listen to understand and meet people with humility and empathy. You leverage your employees' knowledge, create participation, and are clear about responsibility, expectations, and goals. You work strategically, analytically, and solution-oriented. Since your assignment encompasses multiple operations, you need to be able to structure, prioritize, and create clarity. You also have a strong ability to create and maintain trusting relationships with employees, residents, relatives, the municipality, and other cooperation partners. Qualifications The operations require authorization and relevant higher education, as you will be listed on the authorization with IVO (the Health and Social Care Inspectorate). For this position, you must be able to be approved by IVO. We are looking for someone who has: Relevant higher education or university degree, such as nursing, social work, behavioral science, or equivalent. Leadership training and more than two years of documented experience leading employees and teams within elderly care. Current experience working with social services legislation. Financial knowledge and experience with budget responsibility and financial follow-up. Good experience working with and reporting in various support systems, such as journal, planning, and payroll systems. If you move forward in the process, we will request certificates for relevant qualifications. Before employment, you must provide an extract from the police criminal record and documentation proving your right to work in Sweden. Meritorious It is meritorious if you have experience with change work, union cooperation, and leading multiple operations. A driver's license is also meritorious.
