The operation consists of four units with a total of 40 apartments. Three units are focused on short-term and respite care, and one unit is permanent housing with a dementia focus. The short-term operation involves a dynamic daily environment with varying needs and many points of contact. To succeed, we set high standards for quality, collaboration, and structure. As part of the organization, you become part of a close collaboration between operations managers for the municipality's seven care and housing facilities. Together we share experiences, support each other, and develop the operations. We also have a quality coordinator with special focus on our facilities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, finances, personnel, and work environment. You lead an engaged team of approximately 45 employees and create conditions for safe, quality, and person-centered care. No two days are the same. Kastanjens combination of short-term care, respite care, and dementia care means a high pace, varying issues, and many points of contact. This requires present leadership, good collaboration, and the ability to prioritize when conditions change. You are supported by a coordinator who is responsible for planning and coordination of moves in and out, while you yourself have an important role in creating good dialogue and trusting relationships. The assignment includes driving the operation's development work based on established goals and needs. Right now we have particular focus on meal development, increased participation and self-determination for residents, as well as activities and outdoor time. Workforce planning is also a prioritized area where you are expected to contribute to a long-term and sustainable approach. As a manager, you have access to broad support from specialist functions including HR, finance, healthcare, IT, and facilities. Together we contribute to creating good conditions for the operation. You should have documented management and leadership experience with good results. Furthermore, you should have interest and experience working in elderly care. If you have previous experience working in a politically governed organization, we see that as a plus. We are looking for a present and unpretentious leader who sees employees, users, and their relatives as an asset. You are clear in your communication, which creates security and stability. In your work, you will handle both operational and strategic issues, which require patience and structure. You have a talent for collaboration and see the importance of good relationships both within and outside your own operation.
